This is just anti-Catholic conspiracy theory and hardly worthy scholarship. Just a load of paranoia from someone who has a demonstrable bias against the Church.
Quite possibly some of the greatest political thought of all time--and if you like this, you should read his other encyclicals too! Clear thinking that could help the world find its bearings again, although modern man doesn't have listening to Popes too high on its list of priorities...
This is a neat website that has an online streaming radio of both Eastern Orthodox music and talk. I've not yet listened to the talk, but the music is excellent. It has minimal commercial interruption, just spots for the station advertising upcoming programming. Beautiful music though.
This is just more sensationalist reporting from a British tabloid. The Church didn't "change the seven deadly sins;" rather, this Archbishop gave a talk on sin and going to confession, and this paper took what he said completely out of context. The things that have been sinful in the past are always sinful because sin isn't governed by some arbitrary rules set up by men in Rome, it is those things which violate the law of God which are set up from the beginning.
